The long-rumoured Batman: Back to Arkham HD Collection had appeared yet again, this time courtesy to an apparent listing on an Italian shopping site and magazine ad. The bundle supposedly features both of Rocksteady’s last-gen Batman titles — Arkham Knight & Arkham City – all gussied up to take use of the current hardware generation.
Gaming Tree House uploaded a screengrab from GameStop Italy, that includes a description for the game, and also a magazine ad that showed the box art. The listing isn’t currently up here on the retailer’s site, because that screengrab is all that we have to rely on right now. According to the purported site description, the collection is due to Ps4 and Xbox One on June 10 for an MSRP of roughly $40, and it contains remastered versions of two titles plus their associated DLC.
Full disclosure: GameStop is Game Informer’s parent organization.
At that point, Warner will have to realise that lustre has gone off this announcement. Maybe it’s time either to formally confirm the news and squash it if it’s actually a cleverly crafted fake.
