The new Captain America Civil War trailer has arrived, and fans are already debating whether or not they should see it before seeing Avengers: Infinity War. What do you think?
The new Captain America film is expected to hit theaters on May 6th, 2018. In addition to Chris Evans reprising his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Tom Holland will play Spider-Man, Sebastian Stan will play Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie will play Falcon, Paul Rudd will play Scott Lang/Ant-man, Elizabeth Olsen will play Wasp, Jeremy Renner will play Hawkeye, Chadwick Boseman will play Black Panther, Frank Grillo will play Crossbones, Daniel Bruhl will play Baron Zemo, Emily VanCamp will play Sharon Carter, William Hurt will play General Thaddeus Ross, and Martin Freeman will play Everett K. Ross.
The new Captain America film is going to be a huge event for Marvel Studios. Fans are excited to see the return of Captain America, who was last seen battling Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War. This time around, he’ll be joined by other heroes from both sides of the conflict.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently spoke with ComicBook.com about the upcoming Captain America sequel. He said that the movie will feature “a lot” of characters from the comics.
“It’s a very big part of what we’re doing at Marvel right now,” Feige explained. “We have so many more movies coming out, and this one is really important to us because it’s the culmination of everything that we’ve been building up over the past few years.”

Feige went on to say that the movie will also introduce some new characters. “There are some new characters introduced in this movie, which I can’t talk about yet but there are some new characters,” Feige teased. “And then obviously Cap and Winter Soldier are back. But there are a lot of people that come into this movie.”
Feige added that the movie will pick up where Captain America: Civil War left off. “I don’t want to give too much away, but it picks up immediately after ,” Feige said. “So if you haven’t seen Civil War, you might want to go watch that first.”
While the new Captain America film won’t be released until May 6th, 2017, Marvel Studios has already started filming. A few weeks ago, director Joe Russo posted a photo on Instagram showing him directing an action sequence.
